Overview
There is nothing sweeter than the fresh taste of maple syrup! Walk through the sugar bush with the local guide and learn how maple syrup is made.
We are going to visit White Meadows Farm in St. Catherines. The farm will explain the whole process of making maple syrup. Maple syrup is made only once a year, so don’t miss this opportunity! We will attend a special event organized by the farm – Campout Lunch.
Campout lunch starts with a tractor pulled wagon ride to the edge of the sugar bush, there you will be greeted by our Campout Ambassadors.
Follow along the groomed trails to your campout site complete with campfire, cozy blankets and your warm lunch waiting for you…
To start your experience, enjoy a mini-charcuterie featuring a selection of our gourmet Maple products, all four colours of maple syrup, Black River Maple Cheddar, crisp crackers, and a pickle.
Next cozy up with a warm bowl of your choice of Beef and Chocolate Stew, Turkey and Bacon Chili, or Maple Baked Beans, each paired with a fresh buttermilk biscuit from our friends at De la Terre Bakery, the perfect companion to dunk into your chili, stew or beans.
Finish your meal with the dessert of the day, Maple Apple Crisp or Maple Whisky Bread Pudding.
Your lunch wouldn’t be complete without a toasty beverage to enjoy by the campfire; enjoy Maple Tea and Maple Hot Chocolate, or both! Your campsite will be outfitted with a fresh pot of hot water and everything you need to make the perfect cup of Maple!
When you’ve had your fill of maple goodies, join your Tour Guide for a fun and informative stroll through our working Sugar Bush on The Sugar Bush Trek and finish the day with a sticky and satisfying maple taffy-on-snow.
After the tour we will drive to Ball’s Falls Conversation area. You can enjoy an incredible view of Upper waterfalls. This is a short one hour hike, great for beginner hikers.
Our last stop will be in small historical town Niagara on the Lake. You will see where Lake Ontario and Niagara river meets. You can walk along the lake or visit one of many shops, restaurant, coffee and ice cream shops. You have to try famous Cow’s ice cream. U.S. travel company puts Cows ice cream in world’s top 10!
If the group agrees, we can visit one local winery, where you can try ice wine or table wine.

What are the Covid-19 Health and Safety Measures?
We take seriously all health and safety measures and we ask you to stay home if you are feeling sick and have fever. On our tour all customers and tour guides have to:
- wear mask all the time inside of van
- use hand sanitizer

- sneeze and cough into their sleeve
- don't share food and drinks unless they are from same household

Is wine tasting included?
No, there is an additional charge of $15 plust HST for 3 table wine tastings and one ice wine tasting.
Is there veggie option of lunch?
Yes, after your booking we will contact you and check which meal option do you prefer. You have a choice of Beef and Chocolate Stew, Turkey and Bacon Chili, or Maple Baked Beans.
What is the age group joining the tour?
The avarage age group is 20-35 however we can have younger or older people joining the tour. As we are small groups only, everyone gets along together very well.
