Overview
Join us on a day tour to Killarney Park and hike one of the most beautiful trail in Ontario – The Crack. The Crack Killarney Provincial Park is part of the La Cloche Mountains.
These mountains are approximately 1.88 billion years old, and they’re comprised mostly of white Quartzite (metamorphic rock that was originally pure quartz sandstone).
While the highest peak of the La Cloche Mountains only stands at 539 meters today, they were once higher than the Rocky Mountains. These hills are among the highest altitudes in Ontario.
Who Can Join Killarney Park Tour?
Killarney park tour is good for an experienced hikers as the terrain is quite challenging. You will need hiking shoes as the rocks are slippery. The last part of the hike is the hardest as you will have to climb a big rocks. It will take us four hours to hike the whole trail.
We will also visit a suspension bridge at French River Provincial Park.
